Island Retreat Spa stays open year-round with a seasonally-adjusted schedule.

For Private Parties wishing to Reserve the Spa on a closed business day, there is a $2,000 service minimum, pending availability.

Private Fitness Classes are available year-round with advance request, even if Group Classes are not listed on our schedule. Request a Private Class

Spa Etiquette

To ensure that Island Retreat Spa remains a relaxing experience for all, we kindly ask to please silence your cell phones and keep voices low once you enter the facility. If you have more questions, send us a note.

Appointments

FIRST TIME APPOINTMENTS

First time guests please arrive fifteen minutes prior to the start of your treatment to fill out paperwork and consent forms. This will also allow you to fully unwind and enjoy your treatment. Forms will be emailed to you prior to your appointment start time for your convenience.

   

LATE ARRIVALS

As a courtesy to all of our guests, late arrivals will result in a shorter treatment if the schedule is booked. We always will do our best to accommodate you and make you feel like royalty!


Gift Cards

REDEMPTION

Gift cards are redeemable for services and products, and are at face value. Gift Cards cannot be combined with any other special offers or discounted services, including but not limited to: Spa Day Packages and group pricing.

Gift Cards cannot be used towards gratuities. They may be purchased by phone, on our website or within the spa. They must be presented at time of service and are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash. Terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.


Cancellations

CANCELLATION POLICY & FEES

Any cancellations or rescheduled appointments with less than 24 hour notice are subject to a cancellation fee amounting to 50% of the service booked plus a $20 late cancellation fee. No-shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service plus a $20 late cancellation fee.


If you are late for your appointment, we will do our best to accommodate you, but we will not go over the allotted appointment time. We recognize the time of our clients and staff is valuable therefore we have implemented this policy. When you schedule your appointment with us we request a credit card to be put on file to guarantee a reservation so please have your credit card ready when booking. You will not be billed unless there is a cancellation or no show. Thank you!

I AM COMING TO BALD HEAD ISLAND FOR THE DAY:
HOW DO I GET TO THE SPA?


When you purchase a ferry ticket at Deep Point Marina, you may also request Tram Service directly to/from one location on the island. Call (910) 457-5003 to arrange tram reservations to the spa for your appointment. We recommend riding the ferry that is at least one hour prior to your spa appointments to avoid missing any treatment time!

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED IN THE SPA?

We kindly request that children do not attend your treatments with you unless they are also receiving treatments. We allow children ages 3-12 years old in the hair and nail salon only, and with parental supervision. Children ages 13-17 may receive massages or facials with parental consent, and children 13-15 must have a parent present in the treatment room during service.

WHY AM I HAVING TROUBLE BOOKING MULTIPLE APPOINTMENTS IN THE APP?

Our App is designed for a single-user booking experience. When trying to book multiple appointments at the same time, we recommend contacting us via phone or e-mail.

I PURCHASED A CLASS PASS LAST SUMMER BUT CANNOT SEEM TO USE IT TO REGISTER FOR CLASSES NOW. WHY IS THAT?

5-Class and 10-Class Shareable Passes are valid for 6 months from purchase. If you purchased one last summer, you will no longer be able to use unused classes after 6 months have passed.
